Monthly coaching costs $197 a month and will roll over on a monthly basis until you no longer need support. For best effect I recommend most women participate in coaching no fewer than 4 months to allow the time to get a solid labor & delivery plan in place. Many women choose to remain in coaching until after their 6-week postpartum check in order to get more personalized insight into their return to sport, fitness or other activities after baby is here.

  • This coaching program is designed specifically for women navigating pregnancy and postpartum with scoliosis and spinal fusion. Having experienced 2 pregnancies of my own, I have a unique perspective of the medical challenges you may expect to incur. Plus, being specialized in both pelvic health and scoliosis exercise, I can help troubleshoot any issues that may arise along your way.

  • Absolutely! Once you sign up, I send an intake form which you fill out prior to the first coaching call. You are welcome to send any x-rays you have or medical records at any time. During that first coaching call, I evaluate your posture and your movement patterns and together we determine the exercises that will be most effective for you.

  • The first monthly call is an hour and follow up monthly calls are thirty minutes. The focus of each call will vary, depending on where you are in your pregnancy (or postpartum) journey and what your current struggles are.

  • Not at all! Some of my clients begin before conceiving, and others start postpartum.

  • Absolutely. Some women find postpartum to be a more challenging time than the pregnancy itself! The programming we create together will help rebuild the muscles that are impacted by pregnancy and childbirth. I recommend my clients continue coaching for at least 3 months postpartum to ensure they are strong enough to return to their preferred pre-pregnancy activities or fitness.

  • All of my coaching clients have full access not only to my email but also to my Voxer, a chat app in which I respond within 48 hours to any pressing questions or concerns. This can be particularly helpful if there are more urgent issues preparing for a doctor’s visit or new pain behavior.

  • That is where I shine! Our spines and bodies do best when our muscles are strong and helping manage the load of pregnancy and postpartum, and everyone with scoliosis or a spinal fusion may have different needs. My clients can expect a completely customized exercise routine that will help them feel better, more prepared for the demands of pregnancy and postpartum life, and return to fitness long beyond baby’s arrival!

  • Yes! I have written extensively about why we are more susceptible to back pain during pregnancy and postpartum - but that certainly doesn’t mean we cannot change course! We will tackle pregnancy (or post-pregnancy!) back pain as a team, figuring out any specific movements or other variables that may be impacting you.
